How much do your cakes cost?
Overall cost will vary based on the style, size, flavor, level of detail and complexity of design you select. As a general guideline, our cakes range from about $4.25 to $10 per serving.
How early should I order my cake?
Since we limit the number of cakes we create to ensure the finest quality and service to our clients, we recommend us as much lead-time as possible! We schedule a minimum of 4 to 6 months out for wedding cakes and 2 weeks to 3 months for occasion cakes.
What if I need a cake next week?
We pride ourselves on the excellent service we provide our clients. If you’re in a pinch and need a cake on short notice please give us a call, we will do our best to help you.
Do I get to taste your cakes?
Wedding cake clients are invited to attend a complimentary tasting for two. We will present a number of our cake and filling combinations for you to enjoy. For event cakes, please visit us at the bakery for an informal complimentary tasting after 11:30 am Monday - Thursday.
What should I bring along with me to a consultation?
We ask that you consider a budget for your cake as this gives us a sense of what we can do for you. Please bring along any ideas you may have for your cake (theme, flowers, colors, dress design, table decorations, etc.) Any input, no matter how limited, is most helpful in helping us design and create the cake of your dreams!
How much of a deposit is necessary to reserve my wedding date?
A 35% deposit is required to reserve your date. Your deposit will be based on the total estimated amount of your cake. Keep in mind, deposits are non-refundable.
Will you deliver my cake?
We deliver cakes throughout Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania. There is a $25 per hour delivery and setup fee, based on round trip.
How big of a cake do I need?
We size your wedding cake based on the estimated number of guests, the design of the cake and your budget. With regard to occasion cakes, the guidelines below provide an estimate of the most common sizes. Layers and combinations of shape and size may be combined to accommodate larger groups.
- 8" round cake serves up to 14 guests
- 8" square serves up to 16
- 10" round cake serves up to 20 guests
- 10" square serves up to 25
- 12" round cake serves up to 28 guests
- 12" square serves up to 35
- 14" round cake serves up to 40 guests
- 14" square serves up to 50
Cakes with a unique design, character, corporate logo, etc. may be created for a specific number of guests or of a certain size and shape to provide an impactful centerpiece or focal point for your event.
